"PC-Less" Keyboard Now Works with Macs & IBMs
The AlphaSmart Pro "intelligent" keyboard, which d'esn't need a computer for data entry, differs from the earlier AlphaSmart in two significant ways: It works with IBM-compatible PCs (as well as Macs/Apple IIgs), and it has four times as much memory. Through the unit's LCD display, students can enter and edit text, then transfer it directly to a computer for formatting and printing. Eight separate files are provided for storing work.
