UNC-Charlotte Upgrades Its Telecom. Platform

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is spending $2.7 million to upgrade the campus' telecommunications platform by purchasing the Intecom E switching platform. The E, a 5,200-port switching platform, serves as a centralized telecommunications hub to provide campuswide voice, voice messaging and integrated data connection functions.
