"Tech Paks" Contain Special-Ed Materials

Specialized Tech Paks of focused technology materials are available from DREAMMS for Kids, publishers of DIRECTIONS: Technology in Special Education, a monthly technology-based newsletter.

Each Tech Pak includes a free copy of DIRECTIONS, adaptive technology product catalogs, resource and vendor listings, and authorized reprints from agencies such as ABLEDATA, NICHCY, UCP, Exceptional Parent Magazine, the Assistive Technology Funding and Systems Change Project, or the Council for Exceptional Children.

Parents and professionals request a package based on their specific needs and requirements. Topics include Funding, Software, Internet, Environmental Control, Augmentative Communication, Adaptive I/O and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
