Workstation Houses

The Multimedia Workstation organizes a wide range of electronic music equipment with a comfortable, ergonomic design. It allows students to simultaneously use computers, keyboard and mouse, VCR, CD-ROM, speakers, video monitors and more. The workstation brings everything within fingertip reach of the student while leaving unobstructed sightlines to each component and to the teacher at the front of the room. The lower-level surface holds external hard drives and other peripherals. The mouse pad tablet can be mounted on either the left or right side. A unique cord management system provides a traceable layout that minimizes wiring interference while protecting and concealing all cables and power cords. A surge-suppression power strip has 15 outlets (four constant power and 11 switched), widely spaced and turned at a 90 degree angle to accommodate transformer plugs. Also included are a hook for headphones and a foot pedal drop-through space. Wenger Corp., Owatonna, MN, (800) 733-0393.
