CCC Licenses SW to Kaplan Centers
Computer Curriculum Corp. (CCC) has licensed its SuccessMaker software to Kaplan Educational Centers for use in Score@Kaplan, an academic enrichment program offered nationwide. Kaplan operated four K-12 pilot centers in Boston last year, and has expanded by acquiring Score! Learning Corp. Kaplan chose CCC's SuccessMaker because of its engaging multimedia content and ability to adapt to individual learning styles. The interactive courseware incorporates full-motion video, digital sound and animation into more than 3,000 hours of content in reading, language arts, math, science, life skills and ESL. Based on national education standards, SuccessMaker moves students through curriculum at a pace that's right for them, tracking performance and generating reports when desired.
