SW Shares CDs Without a LAN

With SciNet CD-Manager, schools, small libraries and other groups can share up to 254 CDs using just the built-in networking features of Windows 95 or NT. With this independent server software, small groups of PCs can share CD-ROM resources, located in CD changers and drives, without a network.

A new version, 3.2, supports a variety of desktop platforms, including Novellís new 32-bit client, as well as CD-ROM interface types such as SCSI and ATAPI. Default configuration is 28 CDs; options add capacity.

SciNet also offers plug-n-play, pre-loaded CD Server turnkey systems and ìbuilt-itî Server Paks. SciNet, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, (800) 653-1010, www.scinet.com. W
