AWARD: $2 million donated by Ameritech to Library's National Digital Library Program
DESCRIPTION: Twelve winners in the third and final round of the Library of Congress/Ameritech National Digital Library Competition were announced. The program awarded 33 institutions. Libraries, archives, museums and historical societies are able to digitize their collections of the Library of Congress.
