Late Breaks - The Siemens Westinghouse Science & Technology Competition

The Siemens Westinghouse Science & Technology Competition is a national science, math and technology research contest for high school seniors, awarding more than $1 million in scholarships. The competition is open to individual seniors and to teams of students who develop research projects in the physical or biological sciences, mathematics, technology and engineering disciplines. The competition is judged on the regional level, and culminates with national awards for an individual and team. Student projects are judged for originality, creativity, academic rigor and clarity. Applications are due October 2, and are available at http://www.siemens-foundation.org/.
