FYI...Sirsi Corp. and Northern Light Technology, Inc

Sirsi Corp. and Northern Light Technology, Inc. have partnered to integrate Northern Light's Web search capabilities into Sirsi's iBistro Internet Access Center for public, academic, school, and other special libraries. The alliance enables library users to quickly retrieve Web sites relevant to their research interests. Search results are ranked by relevance and organized into custom search folders that use meaningful group categorizations. Searches can be limited to particular subjects, types of Web sites, languages, countries and date ranges. A single, simple interface allows users to search a library's catalog, visit other libraries, peruse high-quality Web sites, read book reviews and summaries, and purchase books currently unavailable in the library.
