Philip's DVD Q40

Philips Consumer Electronics announces a new ultra slim design line of DVD-video players. The Philips DVD Q40 and DVD Q50 feature playback of DVD-video, DCCA, CD-R/RW, VCD and MP3-CDs. The new products offer a variety of features, including built-in AC-3 and DTS decoding, dual discrete laser pick-up and Philips' parental control feature. With a stylish silver design and a clean, easy-to-use interface, the DVD players in this new line are both attractive and practical. Both the DVD Q40 and the DVD Q50 feature a component video output, video and black level shifts and a bitrate indicator. The DVD Q50 includes a sophisticated Motion Correction System, which optimizes and corrects for artifacts, resulting in razor-sharp picture performance. Progressive scan output, 54 MHz/ 12 bit video processing, 192 kHz/24 bit audio and Digital Crystal Clear are also included in the DVD Q50.
