Educators to Create Instructional Methods for TI Product

Fifty teachers throughout the United States and Canada were recently named winners of the Texas Instruments' TI-Navigator Collaboration Grants Program. These educators, who come from a variety of subject backgrounds, including math, science, English and foreign languages, will be among the first to create advanced instructional methods for the TI-Navigator, a new wireless classroom system designed to facilitate student-focused learning. The system connects teachers and students through TI-83 Plus handheld technology and wireless hubs, empowering real-time interaction in the classroom.

As part of the program, Texas Instruments will award the grant to 100 schools this year. The winners will receive TI-Navigator at a reduced cost and participate in a collaboration program to develop new classroom activities with the system.
