Online classes for K-12 teachers are available via a partnership between the Institute of Computer Technology of Sunnyvale, Calif., and eCollege.com. A nonprofit organization founded in 1982, ICT offers 11 university-accredited online courses in instructional technology for K-12 teachers. The courses, which may be taken individually or as part of a full instructional-technology certificate program, are instructor-led and delivered entirely online. The goal of the courses is to help teachers effectively integrate the use of computers and the Internet into their classrooms. A complete list of the classes and registration information can be found online at www.ict.org/onlinehome.html.
