AOL Launches Online Learning Center

America Online has launched an Online Campus on its Research & Learn Channel, enabling members to research and register for offline courses, access career advancement resources, pursue an interest or hobby, and complete undergraduate and graduate degrees online. Coursework and resources are available in areas ranging from personal enrichment and GED degrees to college-level business administration and technology. They are offered by educational providers such as the University of Ph'enix, University of California Berkeley Extension, PBS and Barnes & Noble.

The course and content offerings on AOL's Online Campus focus on three areas of interest: career advancement, degree courses and personal enrichment. Members can sign up for diverse learning opportunities such as "Italian for Travelers" offered by Barnes & Noble. The Private Lessons Channel also provides members with high-quality, inexpensive courses on a variety of topics, including yoga, computer skills and the arts.
