The SkillsTutor Web site, www.skillstutor.com, claims to increase test scores and extend learning opportunities for students in K-12 schools, colleges and general education adult programs. The site offers online practice tests and tutorials in reading, writing, mathematics, language, science, information and workforce skills, as well as a Spanish voice-track. More than 700 lessons and activities align with state standards. SkillsTutor automatically administers diagnostic tests, and guides educators and adult students in creating individual learning plans. A management system also tracks student performance and reduces paperwork.
