HP Pavilion 500 Series Desktop

The HP Pavilion 500 Series offers versatility and productivity for the education community. The unit comes standard with an Intel Celeron processor at 1.7 GHz, has 128 MB of DDR SDRAM, a 40 GB hard drive and a customizable CD-RW combo drive. The Pavilion comes with the Corel Word-Perfect Productivity Pack and the HP Record Now software. Users can listen to CDs, MP3s or Internet radio with AC-97/Polk Audio Stereo Speakers with Power Port technology. Digital photos can be downloaded with the front-mounted high-speed USB 2.0 ports, which offer 40 times more bandwidth than USB 1.1. Users can also create projects with HP Picture Toolkit Software, including Arcsoft PhotoImpression, Fun House and Greeting Card Creator. Prices start at $499.
