Chancery Releases Improved Student Management Solution

Chancery Software has released a new version of its Web-based student management system, Chancery SMS 4.0. The program provides districts and schools with a centralized system for managing student information that is able to support the needs of medium to large K-12 school districts. Specifically designed to help reduce the total cost of ownership, Chancery SMS 4.0 offers real-time management for all student data. By storing student information in one location, districts will save money on the costs of hardware, software and maintenance; thus, reducing the total cost of the student information system. Other advantages of this centralized system include quick and easy installation of updates and better compliance with NCLB reporting requirements. Key enhancements to the highly customizable, SIF-enabled SMS 4.0 include middle and high school functionality, as well as integration with health office and special education tools. In addition, Chancery has acquired LearnEarly's technology assets and intellectual property, which will be integrated into Chancery SMS to create a comprehensive data-driven solution for K-12 educators.
