The PersonalProfessors.com site (www.personalprofessors.com) is a hybrid solution for e-learning and online tutoring. Currently offering courses in California biology, algebra and geometry, the Personal Professors' courses use the Web to deliver instruction or personalized tutoring. Teachers deliver lessons at low bandwidth using any whiteboard, and the lessons are archived after delivery for later review. Teachers and students also have the ability to engage in class discussions via message boards, and instructors also hold live office hours for students who have additional questions.
