Prosper Assessment System

The Prosper Assessment System from Pearson NCS (www.pearsonncs.com) combines test-item banking, test generation, scoring and reporting in one software package. Educators can use the program to create tests from banks of items that provide more than 2,000 popular textbook titles, or they can create their own custom questions. They can then print tests that target specific learning objectives or post tests online. The Prosper Assessment System highlights areas where the instructional content, tests and student learning may not be aligned, and allows educators to tailor instruction to improve student learning. The system also quickly scores and analyzes test data collected either by a Pearson NCS optical mark read (OMR) scanner or online, and then produces reports that pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses of individual students, subgroups or entire classes.
