SMART Releases Updated Concept-Mapped Software

SMART Technologies Inc. has just released version 5.0 of its SMART Ideas concept-mapping software (www.smarttech.com/smartideas), which enables students and educators to create multilevel concept maps using unlimited levels, colorful symbols, connec-tors,clip art,and multimedia files to reinforce concepts visually, organize lessons, and plan proj-ects. Educators will find new features in v5.0 such as an enhanced panoramic global view, improved content management, and more powerful outline features that are useful for engaging students, appealing to different learning styles, and improving comprehension and retention. This new version is available Windows, Mac OS X, and tablet PCs. Its education pricing starts at $59 per individual license and $2499 per K-12 school license.
