Mitsubishi Rolls Out LCD Presentation Displays

11.14.2006—Mitsubishi today began shipping two new models in its lineup of commercial presentation displays. The new LDT321V and LDT371V are 32-inch and 37-inch displays (respectively) designed for classrooms and other venues with a significant amount of ambient light.
The higher-end LDT371V is a 37-inch (diagonal) widescreen display offering a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It has a brightness of 500 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1,200:1. Response time is 12 ms, and the backlight is designed for 50,000 hours of use. It also offers motion shift and S-Gamma control. Connectors include BNC (R,G,B,H,V), mini D-sub 15pin, DVI-D (HDCP Compliant), S-video, composite (RCA), BNC, audio LR (RCA), audio stereo mini jack, computer monitor loop-out and RS232 for communications.
The LDT321V is a 32-inch widescreen LCD display offering a resolution of 1,366 x 768, a brightness of 500 cd/m2, a response time of 12 ms, a 50,000-hour backlight and a contrast ratio of 1,200:1. Like the 37-inch version, it also includes motion shift and S-Gamma control and includes the following connectors: BNC (R,G,B,H,V), mini D-sub 15pin, DVI-D (HDCP Compliant), S-video, composite (RCA), BNC, audio LR (RCA), audio stereo mini jack, computer monitor loop-out and RS232 for communications.
Both units come with a built-in scheduling utility for automating the changing of messages on the displays. The LDT321V sells for $2,495. The LDT371V sells for $3,495.
