CHRISTIE DIGITAL SYSTEMS has released the Christie LW300. This widescreen LCD projector boasts 3,000 ANSI lumens, a native 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio with WXGA (1366 x 768) resolution that has more than 30 percent more pixels than XGA. The LW300 displays HDTV clearly and brightly, and the projector can be connected to a variety of sources. It also features motorized zoom as well as focus and lens shift. A speciallong-life filter kit is an available accessory. Price: $9,995.
