ADOBE SYSTEMS has consolidated each of its creative applications intoone or more Adobe Creative Suite 3 editions. Most of the apps have been updatedand are now compatible with Windows Vista and Intel-based Macs, a boon toschool system administrators transitioning from traditional Macs. The companyhas also revamped its K-12 education licensing, offering volume discounts toschools and districts that offer career and technical education programs, and thatintegrate multimedia education throughout the curriculum. Adobe's aim is to allowK-12 institutions to train students on the latest graphic design, web design anddevelopment, and film and video tools used by professionals. Price: Five licensingmodels are available, starting at $4,999 for CS3 Design Standard on up to$12,499 for CS3 Master Collection.
