ELEARNING SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL, aprovider of online learning solutions, has released WebLessons,a hosted application that serves up online content transparentlyrather than listing URLs on a topic, the way a searchengine does. Each lesson guides students through webresources, then delivers a quiz on the content, followed by awriting assignment. The app can be used by students for selfdirectedstudy, or by teachers for whole-class instruction.Social studies and science lessons for grades 3 to 12 are availablenow. Price: Starts at $750 per teacher per annual subscription.
