INTERWRITE LEARNING is expanding its family of assessment products with asmall radio-frequency student response clicker called Cricket. The device was designedin response to teachers’ requests for something simple to use that would encouragestudent participation in class and provide immediate assessment results. Cricket has only nine buttons—one for power, two for true/false answers, and six for multiplechoice. Price: single clicker, $36; preconfigured class packs with 24 and32 clickers, $1,129 and $1,429, respectively. Assessment (host) software, aUSB receiver, and a carrying case are all included with the class packs.
