OPTOMA announces the arrival of the Pico PK-101, one of the world's smallest
and lightest portable projectors. It employs a Texas Instruments DLP pico
digital micro-mirror device-- a reflective chip that creates the image--
and combines it with an LED-based light source for a bright image and
a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. The 4-ounce projector has a 480 x 320
native resolution, which is ideal for connecting to small devices such
as an iPod or smart phone to view pictures and videos up to 100 times
larger. Price: $399.
