Luidia Intros eBeam Engage Whiteboard Device

Luidia is expanding its line of eBeam interactive whiteboard devices. The company this week launched eBeam Engage, which is designed to turn any flat surface into an interactive whiteboard, at the Infocomm 2010 conference in Las Vegas.

eBeam devices attach to flat surfaces to transform them into interactive work surfaces. Unlike a typical system requiring purchase of a new whiteboard, eBeam Engage integrates with existing whiteboards or other surfaces and eliminates the need for users to access a computer system that may not be located nearby the writing surface.

The new device in the eBeam lineup, eBeam Engage, includes a JBL speaker, audio recording mechanism, and writing stylus, plus a magnetic wireless keyboard for text entry and built-in controls for scrolling through documents, applications, or Web pages.

EBeam Engage, as well as other eBeam products and technologies, are being shown off June 9-11 in booth N518 at the InfoComm 2010 conference in Las Vegas and June 28-30 at the ISTE show in Denver at booth 1754.
