NSHSS Members Get Discounted Rates for Online Courses

The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) has partnered with online school program provider K12 Inc. to give members of the organization special access at discounted rates to a wide variety of courses, including honors, AP, and electives, through the online K12 International Academy.

Founded in 2002 to recognize academic excellence in high school and encourage members to contribute their talents and skills both to their own betterment and to serving the greater good, NSHSS offers scholarships and unique learning opportunities to its members in 160 countries.

Society members will have the option of taking core, honors, elective, and AP courses in math, English/language arts, natural sciences, and social studies/history. In addition, courses in elective topics will allow them to broaden their exposure to academic and preprofessional subjects such as:

  • World Languages:
    • Spanish/AP Spanish
    • French/AP French
    • Chinese
    • German
    • Latin
  • Technology/computer science:
    • Programming
    • Digital graphic arts and design
    • Game design
    • CAD
    • Audio engineering
    • Digital photography and video
  • Fine arts
  • Journalism
  • Business administration/finance/marketing
  • Social sciences
