Tool Factory Releases Online Video Editing Suite

Tool Factory has released Creaza Education, a suite of online tools for planning, creating, publishing, and sharing digital stories.

According to information released by the company, Creaza supports all movie formats, allowing students to use content captured on anything from their school's digital camera to their own phones.

Since Creaza is a Web application, students can work on projects any place where they have a computer with an Internet connection and an updated Flash player, and schools don't need to worry about storage capacity.

Creaza Education's four programs can be used independently or together and include:

  • Mindomo, a mind mapping tool for visual learning, creative development, and problem solving;
  • MovieEditor, a video editor with titles, transitions, effects, and more;
  • Cartoonist, a tool for creating cartoons and digital stories with backgrounds, characters, props, images, and text; and
  • AudioEditor, for recording, slicing, and mixing audio.

Creaza Education also comes with educationally based images, audio clips, videos, and themed artwork for use in student projects.

A one-year subscription to Creaza Education for up to 500 students costs $999.99 for primary schools and $1,499.99 for secondary schools.
