Florida Virtual School To Adopt Edline Notification System

Florida Virtual School, the first statewide online public school in the United States, will use Edline's Notification System to communicate with its 122,000 students.

The system allows custom or predetermined messages to be sent via email, phone, or text messages for routine or emergency purposes. Other features include:

  • The ability to translate messages into more than 20 languages;
  • Student information system integration;
  • Attendance tracking;
  • Message-merging technology; and
  • Unlimited messaging.

Florida Virtual School, founded in 1997, is an online school serving international students in grades K-12. Students who live in Florida can attend for free, while students in other states and countries pay tuition.
