StudySync Expands Video Library

BookheadEd Learning has expanded the number of videos available in its StudySync Common Core literacy curriculum's library, SyncTV, to more than 100.

StudySync videos are short, scripted lessons and now include episodes for elementary-school students in addition to those targeted at students in middle and high school.

"The episodes are one part of a cross-curricular literacy platform for grades 4-12 that includes a diverse library of more than 550 fiction and nonfiction texts, dynamic video, and media designed to improve reading, writing, listening, and critical thinking skills," according to a company news release.

StudySync video lessons are designed to provide students with interaction and communication techniques to help them examine, evaluate, and better understand what they've read, build context, and construct meaning. The lessons also include visual introductions to text and online reading supports.
