Kaplan Intros Table PC for Early Learning

Kaplan Early Learning has unveiled a table PC designed to be used as an interactive classroom display or activity center for small groups of students.

Dubbed the Engage-NG, the 27-inch touchscreen can swivel between horizontal, tilted and vertical positions and supports up to four users at once.

"Designed to withstand the active play of young children and developed with a focus on early childhood development standards, the Engage-NG can easily withstand regular classroom use and the active play of young children," according to a Kaplan news release. "The interactive table PC is also lightweight, compact and its wheels allow for easy movement around the classroom."

Other features of the Engage-NG include:

  • Windows 8;
  • A two-hour battery life;
  • Kaplan's Shine software; and
  • Eight included collaborative learning explorations.
