Educational Video Site Glean Introduces New Student Tracking Feature

Glean is a free website that organizes math and science video lessons from YouTube and helps teachers assign these lessons according to a student's learning abilities. Today, the site launched a new feature, Glean Insights, which allows teachers to assign videos to their students and then track how students interact with each lesson.

Glean tags videos by Common Core State Standards and wraps them in interactive tools, including Q&As and practice exercises. The site’s team of teachers watches the videos to collect a number of details including setting, pace, teaching style and grade level. Educators can then use this information to pick the most appropriate video lessons for their students.
