Seton Hill U, Blended Schools to Deliver Dual Credit Online Foreign Language Courses

High school students can get a head start on college this summer, thanks to a new partnership between Seton Hill University and online curriculum provider Blended Schools Network. The summer program will offer courses in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Russian. The dual credit courses will be taught by adjunct faculty at Seton Hill through Blended School’s Learning Institute.

"Our world language program empowers students to learn languages not often taught in their high school, while earning college credit that will help reduce the costs of earning their degree,” said Jed Friedrichsen, CEO at Blended Schools Network, in a prepared statement. “Our faculty have developed incredibly engaging courses to ensure student truly learn the language."

Enrollment for the summer classes is open now. Interested students can register at Blended Schools' Web site.

Blended Schools Network was recently acquired by Sibling Group Holdings, Inc, an education services company headquartered in Atlanta. GA. According to Sibling, the acquisition is slated to close this month.
