Constructing Modern Knowledge Press has announced the publication of The Invent To Learn Guide to 3D Printing in the Classroom: Recipes for Success. Written by David Thornburg, Norma Thornburg and Sara Armstrong, the book includes 18 projects exploring science, technology, engineering and mathematics, along with forays into the visual arts and design. Projects include a fan‐powered vehicle, pottery, Escher‐style tiles, clocks and math manipulatives.

The book also explains 3D printing technology, delves into new design software, and offers buying advice for educators looking to invest in their first 3D printer. The book will be available from Amazon.com in softcover and Kindle formats starting July 1.
