SETDA Names Emerging Private Sector Partners
The State
Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA)
has selected nine emerging private sector partners to highlight at its
upcoming
Emerging Technologies Forum June
26 in Philadelphia.
After a competitive process to pick the nine
companies and in
return for a sponsorship fee, the nine companies will have the
opportunity to
meet with state educational technology representatives during the forum, give
a
presentation on their products, host a table-top demonstration and
attend
workshops and networking events. They will also be able to take
advantage of
SETDA branding in their own marketing efforts over the next year and
interact
with members in other ways.
"State educational technology leaders will receive
the benefit
of learning about our strategic partners' high quality digital learning
products and services," said SETDA Interim Executive Director Lan
Neugent. "At
the same time, these companies will benefit from greater understanding
of
existing and emerging policies and practices in the states."
The nine companies were selected by SETDA on the
basis of
their status as emerging companies, their ability to provide technology
to
education and their potential to scale their efforts on either a
state-wide or
multi-state basis.
The nine companies are:
