Trident Case Launches Free Case Contest for Schools

Trident Case has launched a contest to outfit one classroom with up to 30 TechJacket cases for laptops and Chromebooks.

To enter the contest, a teacher, administrator or other school staff member must submit an original essay that answers the question, "What makes your school unique and how would Trident TechJackets for your classroom help your school?" A panel of judges will read the entries and select the classroom they think is most deserving of a set of free TechJacket cases, based on greatest need, originality of thought and content and creativity.

Laptops and Chromebooks up to 11.6 inches in size will fit in the TechJackets, and students can open and use their devices without removing them from the case. According to information from the company, the cases are rugged enough for classroom use and can protect devices "from any drops up to four feet."

Key features of the TechJackets include the following:

• Anti-skid protective corners;
• access to USB and charging ports on the device;
• shock-absorbing lining;
• straps that adjust to different laptop and Chromebook sizes; and
• reinforced corner guards.

The contest is open from June 10 through July 2, 2015. Contest entrants should e-mail [email protected]. The approximate retail value of the prize is $1,500, but winners may have to pay taxes or other expenses related to the prize.
