3D printer manufacturer UltiMaker has introduced a larger model of its popular education-specific MakerBot 3D printer using the SKETCH platform, the company said, noting that the new MakerBot SKETCH Large 3D printer has “more 3D printing power” than the standard SKETCH printer and enables educators and students to turn their ideas and designs into reality on a larger scale.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed into a law a new requirement for K–12 schools in that state to report any cyberattack impacting more than 500 pupils or personnel, becoming the first in the nation to require disclosure even if a data breach has not occurred.
