U.S. Department of Education is member of the Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF) Association

The U.S. Department of Education is the newest member of the Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF) Association. SIF works to make education data available quickly and easily by connecting schools and districts to higher reporting levels. This works to reduce redundant data entry, data isolation, increased support costs and insufficient data reporting to decision-makers. With the Education Department working as a part of SIF, data reporting in compliance with the No Child Left Behind Act, as well as with other state and federal laws will become more efficient and effectual.
