Discovery Educator Network to Bolster Virtual Community
The 
Discovery Educator
Network (www.discoveryeducatornetwork.com) is a nationwide
community of innovative
teachers who use digital media to
make learning more powerful and
engaging, and who help fellow
teachers learn how to take
advantage of digital learning.
As Discovery Educators, teachers have the opportunity to share ideas and inspire other educators worldwide with support from a nationwide staff rooted in education and committed to helping teachers harness the power of technology and digital media in the classroom. Discovery Educators also have the opportunity to serve on advisory boards, attend special events, participate in educational conferences and other professional development opportunities, as well as be active users of the network’s discussion boards and active members of its online community. At press time, there were 15 educators involved in the program.
