Midwest Assessment Forum Places Focus on the Child

Educators who want to transform their schools via cutting-edge assessment are encouraged to attend the 2005 Midwest Assessment Forum, Oct. 20-21 in Evanston, IL, adjacent to Northwestern University. Sponsored by Harcourt and T.H.E. Journal, the forum will help attendees find proven ways to transform their school’s assessment scores, implement innovative programs, and show improved progress in student learning.

Featured speakers will include top industry experts such as Irene Spero (the Consortium for School Networking), NYC Board of Education’s Irving Hamer, and North Alabama State’s Mark Edwards. Early registrants will be entered into a Sept. 1 drawing for a scholarship to cover the $199 fee (register before Sept. 9 to receive a $50 discount off the price of registration). For more information or to register for the assessment forum, call (800) 572-5373.
