Hoover Elementary Turns to LeapFrog SchoolHouse
The PLTs and interactive books are not intimidating and require little to no teacher or student instruction to be up-and-running. Furthermore, using the products takes minimal preparation time. Teachers are also thrilled to have extra “aides” in the classroom by way of the PLTs. They can spend more one-on-one time with struggling students, knowing that their other students are fully engaged, each following an individualized learning path with the PLTs. The PLTs also assist teachers in instructing our English Language Learners, by providing individualized language instruction. As Hoover continues to serve a wide range of students with varying backgrounds and abilities, LeapFrog SchoolHouse has proved to be an important asset in our mission to level the playing field across all of our students, and provide them with the best possible educational experience. We are excited about the progress they’ve made. These products have not just produced better readers; our students’ enthusiasm for learning has also grown tremendously.
