Pearson Benchmark from Pearson School Systems (www.pearsonschoolsystems.com) is a comprehensive and customizable Web-based testing and reporting solution that can collect student performance over time so teachers and administrators can measure progress, address deficiencies, and re-check mastery by various demographics at any time during the school year. The program’s open system allows educators to formulate, deliver, and score assessments quickly and accurately on paper or online, while also aligning and adjusting to state standards, as needed. And since Benchmark is an ASP solution, schools can integrate the program with their current student information system, and offer parental access over the Web to selected assessment results. Annual pricing runs about $3-$6.50 per student.
