NetOp School v4.0 
is an updated version of CrossTec Corp.’s
(www.crossteccorp.com) classroom management program,
which lets teachers in school labs, networked classrooms, and
virtual classrooms monitor and control their students’ computer
activity to keep them focused and
on-task. A major component of
this latest release is its built-in
student response system, which
allows teachers to produce and
administer tests and surveys over a
network connection in a variety of
IMS-compliant question types.
Additional configurations enable
teachers to set time limits on questions,
get real-time reporting, and
administer auto-scoring for
immediate test results, as well as
provide question resources like
external Web links or files. Price
for a 10-student package is $875.
