Late Breaks - eChalk

eChalk, a Web-based communication provider for K-12 public, private and parochial schools, announced that it has been named the first Application Service Provider to earn eligibility for federal Education Rate (E-rate) funding. Schools nationwide can utilize federal E-rate funds to subsidize the eChalk system, which uses existing computers as the infrastructure to create a Web-based communications network for students, teachers, parents and school administrators. Schools can leverage their current technology to implement eChalk’s suite of Web-based tools, such as e-mail, teacher Web pages, calendaring and file sharing. To learn more, visit www.echalk.com.
