KinderStart Makes E-Mail Safe for Students

KinderStart.com's Filtered E-mail for Kids is a new Web-based e-mail product that scans all incoming and outgoing e-mail, making it safe for students by eliminating offensive material. The product is designed to build solid communication skills.

The free product features "Warning Bees" that appear if a student violates the unwritten rules of sending e-mail. If the student attempts to send the e-mail anyway after nine warnings, the e-mail system shuts down for 24 hours. Additional features include a simple address book to store friends' e-mail addresses, and a folder application that allows students to organize their e-mails and learn the basics of filing.
