Superior Software Management Systems Inc. (www.supersoftsys.com) has created Surveillance Manager, an Internet-based video recording software package that records images and then files them in a database by date and time, facilitating easy retrieval of files. The software package features a motion-detection system, which enables Surveillance Manager to record only when motion occurs in the frame. The system can also remotely control other electronic devices such as lights, locks and gates to deliver even greater security. One computer equipped with the system can monitor up to 10 locations.
