PLUS Vision

The new U5 Series of projectors from PLUS Vision (www.plus-america.com) provides the user with choices designed to meet the varied demands of today's presenters. The first two models offered in the U5 Series include the U5-111, a 1,600 lumen SVGA projector with a short-focus lens, and the U5-112, a 1,600 lumen SVGA projector with a 1:1.2 manual zoom lens. Compact and weighing 4 lbs., the U5 Series offers a 2,000:1 contrast ratio and displays crisp, clear images with lifelike colors. In addition to a whisper-quiet performance, the U5 employs DLP technology from Texas Instruments. The projectors also feature password security protection that disables their use, as well as a lock slot for antitheft wire-lock devices that keep a projector at its intended location. The U5 series offers many features presenters demand including, auto setup, digital zoom, digital keystone correction and a presentation timer, which can be set for 10 to 60 minutes in 10-minute increments.
