AOL@SCHOOL Enhances Site With New, Free Classroom Resources

AOL@SCHOOL (www.aolatschool.com) has added to its free online learning service, incorporating special content from DiscoverySchool.com and VirtualJobShadow.com. The new offerings add to the resources AOL@SCHOOL already has online, which help teachers and students effectively use the Internet in the classroom.

DiscoverySchool.com has enhanced AOL@SCHOOL by giving users access to more than 500 puzzles and worksheets in the curricular areas of math, science and language arts. The puzzles also correspond to AOL@SCHOOL's monthly themes. In addition, Virtual Job Shadow, the online resource of Career Corner TV Corp. (www.careercorner.tv), a provider of multimedia career exploration tools, has enhanced the site with new career video profiles that give "a day in the life" look at jobs in industries such as engineering, education, IT and public service. The videos feature people discussing the realities of their jobs to help students evaluate careers they may be interested in pursuing as adults.
