Inspiration Software

Inspiration Software (www.inspiration.com) has launched Inspiration for Palm OS, allowing teachers and students to use the popular visual learning tool on their Palm-powered handhelds or AlphaSmart's Dana. The new software lets students and teachers use the stylus to create graphic organizers by sketching symbols and arranging thoughts directly on the screen. Once a project is completed, students can transfer it to a handheld word processor, sync their handheld to a desktop, or beam their finished project to a printer. While the new program incorporates many of the same features as Inspiration, it also includes new features such as special zoom options that allow students and teachers to work effectively on the smaller handheld screens.
