Calif. Community College Districts Launch Online C.B. Database

The Community College League of California (www.ccleague.org), a statewide association of all 72 community college districts, has launched an Online Collective Bargaining Database system (www.helmsolutionsgroup.com/cbdatabase) to help administrators better manage collective bargaining negotiations and contracts. Sharing critical documents and information across a large and diverse group of people and districts has long been a problem. Fortunately, the new online database will let community college districts share that information, thereby alleviating the legwork. The online database will permit users to view all collective bargaining documents, including agreements, job descriptions and salary schedules through a searchable and secure Internet browser. The database currently contains more than 4,000 documents.
